Ten years. Holy crap I feel old.
For those who have been watching and supporting me since day one, thank you. I genuinely didn't know how far I'd get by doing what I do best, and that is making silly videos for you all.
To celebrate, I've gone through various hard drives and archives to locate as many of the profile pictures that I've used as possible. So as to not waste your time, however, I'm only including PFPs I've actually used.
One of the first official logos for Evan's First Home Videos. This was what my channel was called prior to late 2015. I didn't post much around this time and was mostly commenting on YouTube videos, mostly ones by leokimvideo as I really liked his content back then.
This was when the channel was renamed to Y0Y0Evan and I started to post videos more frequently about my interests. I renamed the channel around this time due to channels primarily targeted towards children thinking I was one of them, when in fact I wasn't.
Created in celebration of 100 subscribers. Apparently this was a big deal to me back then, because I dreamed of getting a "bronze play button". If you know anything about YouTube awards, however, you'd know this "bronze play button" doesn't actually exist.
The first major implementation of the Y0Y0Evan mascot. Simply a cropped frame from the animated intro I created to coincide with that year's branding. I started posting more Roblox content around this time as well.
One of the first profile pictures I made on a then new HP laptop. I recall getting a rather funny comment about this profile picture and how it supposedly looked like a meatball.
An early version of the profile picture I used that year. I was going for a more "realistic" approach with this one as this was meant to be a special rebrand commemorating my 5th year on YouTube.
I used someone's fan art as a base (with their permission) and almost all of my friends hated it. Every now and then my friends and I would comment on how my hair in this one looks like, to put it lightly, "poop". Not to mention the proportions suck lol why did I think this was a good idea--
Not long after I made that PFP, I made another one per the request of my friends. This was my horrible attempt at trying to make one of those "modern corporate art style" mascots. This also sucks.
Slightly better version of the 2019 PFP with a more natural pose — didn't have any ideas for that year so I just recycled the 2019 mascot and made some poses for the videos I wanted to make with it.
Around this time, I made the short-lived decision to devote my channel completely to Thomas the Tank Engine content. This lasted until the end of 2022.
The Thomas model in this profile picture was made by Sodor Workshops.
This was the final year I devoted my channel to Thomas content. This branding would eventually become the basis for the Y0Y0Evan Railway revival's style.
The last time I'd utilize a detailed mascot for my channel. Basically a redesign of the 2019 channel mascot to make it less garbage.
A special rebrand commemorating the 10th anniversary of my channel. The mascot is now part of the logo.
